{REAL LIFE PARTIES} Black and White Zebra Theme Party

16 Jul

Over the last month or two I have had the pleasure of being involved in the preparations for a gorgeous girl’s 13th birthday party. It’s rare for me to get so close to the organisation and so naturally I was excited to share each and every part … I’m not sure my Facebook followers for Just Jane Designs were loving it so much by the end! Anyway, now that the party has been and gone I thought I’d share with you the whole thing from start to finish.

Every party needs an invitation! With a specially designed stylized tiara and the requested zebra print and splash of colour these are the final issue

Then we needed to ensure that the theme continued to the buffet table

And a party just isn’t well dressed without a welcome sign and a couple of banners!

And that was where my input ended. But, I hear you cry, that surely can’t be it? Well you’d be right, because no party is complete without a jaw dropping cake! Another local business designed a cake to fit with the style and to replicate the little hearty swirl tiara design from the invitation and, of course, lots of zebra stripes. The girls at Kre8ive Cakes did an awesome job and the cake was loved by everyone, but most especially ‘The Birthday Girl’.

And so, we come to the end of a fab party. Happy 13th Birthday Taylor!

All the items you see above were designed to the birthday girl’s vision. Don’t ever be afraid to go to your stationery designer or cake maker and just lay it on the line – my brief for the invitation was ‘black and white, maybe zebra print, splash of colour, a bit of bling, princess style’.

Enjoy your party planning!
